...my keester off here in manitoba. it snowed yesterday. thats all i have to say about that. here to hold my neice for 2 weeks, hang with the parentals and go through old boxes of stuff i forgot about, watch the grey cup and have thankschrismikah....a new tradition i just invented...late for one holiday and early for another....

its been a month....
i blame facebook.
the last month has been fun....
housesitting in 'dits'-ilano...in a very sweet little apartment...sad to leave it tomorrow.
photography mentorship with david the photo guru...LOVIN it.
purchased my very own canon 30D today....very sexy...
while i was in a cafe today i overheard some very funny conversations about how to effectively pick up a chick...and what not to say....apparently if you say 'hello' first instead of 'hey babe whats up?' its supposed to be more effective....i was trying to subtly listen in, until i heard that part of the conversation, at which point i just couldnt hold it in any more... also, 'are those real?' is frowned upon according to these professional flirting masters. my, they sure are clever and cutting-edge...hmmm.
found myself dressed as a panther...sorry kirk...DREAD panther...in the midst of a private keg staff halloween/birthday party.... chaos. the place nearly set alight when an open candle flame attacked a menu....luckily this is one agile dread panther....and, after realising that the smoke WASNT cool special halloween effects, i dashed across the floor extinguishing the fire....panthers are very fast and handy to have around... and like jake daniels and coke...so i hear.
'the year of the dogs' is officially the WORST movie i have EVER seen. please dont ever wach it...i nearly died of boredom...very nearly.
was accosted by geisha's in the loo, with dread questions...twice...rather bizarre....
helped jill blag her kayak through check-in as non-kayak baggage...rather hilarious. (just tape it up like a coffin and weather its a boat or not is the least of their worries)
someone lost feathers and stuffing....rather confusing.
rainbow bright is a flirt with a weakness for sailors....rather irritating.
i am a very bad plant babysitter....rather shameful.
i discovered the other day that i am now of the age where its ok to wink at people and your not seen as a flirt...generally. anybody, anytime, anywhere, any age...im going to max this one out big stlye.
figured out that you can make microwave popcorn on the stove. very handy.
also figured out that if i had the choice i would rather run into a bear than a skunk....you pepper spray a bear and chances are you win....you pepper spray a skunk and chances are he sprayed you first. there are a few holes in that theory but generally it works. skunks roam freely here in this area...maybe its the louloulemon pants or the organic coffee that attracts them to this area....at any rate they like to hang around outside my gate. not impressed.
