i have a beer brewing date tonight with an experienced homebrew artist. very exciting. this could start a revolution. i'll think of a way.

i've decided to spend the summer in the uk....various reasons... one being the make poverty history campaign in edinburugh. i'll be there with bells on...or at the very least a white arm band, making my feeble voice heard on issues of trade justice, debt cancellation, and more and better aid. join the fun....seriously you should come. go on...make history...it's fun.

i managed to land myself a casual job in the meantime...working for canadian outback adventure company...helping host amazing races. it's based on the tv show...they also do ski tours in the winter and rafting in the summer...amoung other things. but i'm involved in the corporate events area. fun. my first day i was stationed on granville island market in vancouver. so many people came up to me and were taking pictures thinking it was the real tv show...i had a bit of fun with it before breaking the news to them. tourists...i'm in at least 3 photos and one video...and could have made a bit of cash on the side for my amazing race t-shirt.

my moms coming to visit! happy days! then toni the tiger comes for 2 weeks....how lucky am i?!! then i'm off to sunny england...SUNNY!!!!! come on baby be good to me! i'm bringing my flip flops and sunnies....don't let me down!

started running again with my roomie fifi trixibelle...fun. she thinks she's growing on me...i DO like her idea that revival is a bi-product of revolution. i need to think more on that one.

woke up on may 1st feeling like i was to be preparing for something this month. not sure what..but i think it will involve a move. the downtown eastside here in vancouver is my home and part of my community now. i love this place....that won't change. but physically i may be somewhere else for awhile. watch this space.

spent the morning in the library...found myself in the history section sitting on the floor surrounded by books on human rights, social and global justice, and martin luther king jr.

not sure where this will lead...but God's got my attention.
