finished my tesl. maybe its more acurate to say... i aced my tesl.

glad it's over... but i'll miss my teacher...we got along really well. oh...and i'll miss eva my 65 year old russian student who wholeheartedly believed that vicks vapour rub was the cure for everything. say 'chicken' in a russian accent....go on... its really funny.
so, now i'm back to thinking about my future....boo. thought i had the summer planned...now i'm not sure. so think i'm just going to hibernate and resurface in october for my brothers wedding.
for now i'm living in a prayer room for the next 30 days as we launch vancouver and the lower mainland into 30 days of 24-7...well we'll give it a damn good try anyway!
sat in the prayer room today listening to jason upton, eating yogurt and watching grafitti artists do their thang. had an interesting chat about the president and israel with one of them by the majesty plant.
introduced zion (my 3 year old neighbour) to playdoh last night... we made ducks. he was totally impressed...so i think i'm in the inner circle of trust now. although he then stategically pulled off all their heads and mashed all 4 colours together. a couple of years ago that might have bothered me...the colour blending ...an unwritten no no in playdoh eticate...now i was just intrigued...isn't it great that we change. it was a sign to me that i am not the same as i once was!

so...not only did i get into the U2 video shoot....but i wangled a ticket the night of the concert! and it was a reat seat right by The Edge. (mom, thats the guitarists name....not the literal sense. :) ) ha ha
it was a dream come true. every minute was incredibe. its that time in your life when you just want to take a bite out of the atmosphere and never swallow. i tried to blink as little as possible the entire night! my eyes are dry.
i also have the prime ministers phone number thanks to bono...and intend to make a call!

my dream has come true....i can die a very happy woman. i, oria dale, together with the wonderful cate thornton are going to be in the next U2 video for the single 'city of blinding lights'! we got in last night here in vancouver for the video shoot!
