started packing....

gutted that i'm not at glastonbury right now. in fact that doesn't even do justice to what i'm feeling.

never seen this side of god... loving being loved by him.

-spent a week in bristol...praying, not sleeping, drove a canal boat, didn't crash the canal boat...rick, hung out on suspension bridge, snuck onto a pier, stole a mini, tanned, picniced, hammocked, dream sessions, general beautiful times had by all.

-lots of nights spent in urban parks in the area...with great company. ;)

-beauty, healing, friendship, passion, dreams, travel, lots of noise

-ireland was beautiful...guiness a plenty...and i didn't buy it once...good irish hospitality. i love how the irish are passionate and firey but don't take themselves too seriously. thats an attractive and dangerous combination. hung out with emmas family and friends and chilled out before heading off on a road trip round west coast. met up and camped with 2 of emmas friends. found our own private beach for the night. longest day of the year. sun went down and came back up without darkness....which was great cause i forgot the flashlight. skinny dipped in sea, fire all night, no bugs, wine and good company. thanks for the tent/home parents! it's getting good use!
lack of handbreak meant some beautiful duke's of hazzard manuvers brought to us by emma! snuck into an abbey...looking for a place to stay for the next night. no luck but the risk was worth it. irish priest from inishpiggle was the cause of great god chats in bar. coffee in galway. bed in clifton, picnic in bundoran, passed through omagh, derry, picked up johnny the hitcher on his way to donegal. good memories and fell in love with yet another country.

happy birthday mom! 50 is a great number...and you wear it very well! :)

back-trackin....scotland

you're the lucky reader of ozzie's 100th post! you don't win anything.

i'm afraid this is going to be a 'low-down' post. one, cause there is too much to say... and two, cause i'm a lazy writer.

- road-tripped through the scottish highlands with cate in the saxo. it was kind of one of those 'end of an era and the beginning of a new one' type of adventures. started off a bit rocky...a very flat tire and a parking ticket. realised that sometimes you just have to push through and fight for whatever it is you are after. that weekend was one of those times. beautiful times in edinburgh with rebekah(she's a fellow teen missions bootcamper!go figure!) and tom...dispite his sore head...still managed to find us wandering the streets! beautiful drive through the highlands, discovered that parts of scotland look like thailand and figi. people failed to mention that one to me. granted never been to either of those places, but in my head they are the same. hmmm....
found the perfect camping spot right by the sea in the north west of scotland. white sandy beaches, blue seas and our own privite tent site. after praying a lot that night for good weather the next day we woke up to rain. prayed again and for the rest of the day and into the next there wasn't a cloud in the sky. such a gift.

swam in the sea... highly recommend this. had a fire on the rocks til the sky went dark...which happened to be about half one in the morning. next day left when the clouds rolled in...back to manchester. beautiful adventure.

saw bus 174 at the cornerhouse tonight. i left feeling totally in love with brazil, and totally unable to communicate my feelings of anger towards this chaotic mess. think i need to sleep on this one and process my thoughts better.
